Come with a valve allows you to adjust to the desire pressure for your comfort. The A5-RE is the lightest rear shock of it’s kind.
 
HOW IT WORKS!! Pumping in your desire pressure and the air filled up the air chamber pushing against the spring.

How to pump?? 
The A5 shock is already prepump in factory with 60psi +/- 2psi.
 
Can we use the normal bycicle pump? Answer is yes and no, depend on your pump set up. Most effective would be using a pneumatic air compressor with a handheld pumping device with a check valve preventing the air from escaping via the other direction.
